We got a very unexpected snowfall in Tulsa the other day which was actually really nice & peaceful. I pulled out this chartreuse coat when I was leaving the house to brighten up the look a bit. This coat is actually very well made & fits like a glove (size small).

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! It feel like it goes as fast as it comes! It was so fun watching B and experiencing his first Christmas. He took his first real steps on Christmas Eve so we were all freaking out. He has been standing for awhile and doing like the one step, but on Christmas Eve he took four steps. I wanted to cry! His face just lights up and he starts laughing, you can tell he is so excited and proud!

I got this skirt for New Year’s Eve. I felt like the metallic shimmer was perfect for bringing in the New Year :) I wanted to dress it down a little bit with a oversized sweater instead of a blousey top. I’m obsessed with this sweater. I have been wearing it on repeat! (also seen in this post)

After Christmas always brings the big clearance sales! I love picking up staple sale pieces for the next year like coats and sweaters.
Shopbop is having a big sale too. This denim trucker jacket from this post is on sale in a lighter wash. Great staple buy. The denim is so soft on it I wear mine all the time.

Happy shopping! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Ornamentation,
Christine

My go-to winter outfit consists of an oversized camel coat, cozy sweater, dark skinny jeans, and black pumps.  On the weekends I switch out the heels for over the knee boots (also love these.)  I’m packing a few different variations of this outfit for my trip to London and Paris this week!  It’s supposed to be chilly over there, so I’ll add a fur vest (this one is an additional 30% off) with my favorite cashmere scarf (just got this one for Christmas.)  Hope you had a great weekend!

I meant for this post to go up Christmas Day but alas we all know plans don't always go as planned... especially during the holidays! Speaking of which I hope everyone had a great one! Now of course it's the weekend so perhaps you are all recovering! And in just four quick days it will be New Year's Eve!  Speaking of which... I always have a hard time deciding what to do for New Year's Eve. What are you guys doing?

This is just your typical white shirt and jeans combo with a cool jacket and edgy boots thrown on to give the look a little more impact. Oh yeah that and it's cold! As you can tell it was off and on rainy/sunny all day, even during our 15 minute shoot! I decided these boots don't actually keep my feet warm. I didn't notice the first few times but after shooting this look I finally realized my toes were cold!

Have a great weekend!
xoxo

Hello everyone!

Today I come with a rocker chic look and, of those that I love, perfect for any occasion desenfadad night during Christmas. In addition to the game-black gray colors that always works great, I think the main success of this outfit is the mix of textures; leather and patent leather point are, in this case, a winning combination. The metallic details such as clutch or ornaments bring the chic skirt to balance the set counterpoint. At this end, I chose this beautiful silver, capable of converting a wardrobe basics such as the sweaters in a basic garment for most occasions arranged winter collar.

Today I have to apologize for writing so little. I'm doing the suitcase while I make the post ... in a while I go with my family to spend these special days together in a cottage, as we do every year. I love Christmas and I love my family so we can get an idea of how happy I am :). I'll tell you more things through my social networks, stay tuned!

I hope you liked the look, but that's not as important today. I wish you a merry christmas, heart. May you be very, very happy !!!:)

Good morning, Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your weekend! I would like to start by announcing the winner of PANDORA International Giveaway. Congrats to Iuliana Rosu from Pink Wish,  I hope you love your PANDORA Holiday 2014 bracelet and charms as much as I do!

With December 31st just around the corner, I wanted to take this opportunity to present two looks I styled to wear on New Year's Eve. Why two, you ask? Well, if you read my blog on regular basis, you may have noticed my style varies from very feminine to slightly masculine, with a bit of an edge. Though these styles may belong to completely different sides of the scale, somehow both of them reflect different aspects of my personality and find a way to co-exist quite harmoniously and in some ways to even complement each other. Funny thing is that I never really know which of these two I'll be inclined to wear, sometimes I get up in the morning and can't wait to wear my girliest dress and other times, I am all about sharp tailoring and edgy accessories.

As I was thinking about what I'll be wearing for New Year's Eve, I came up with an idea to style two looks which reflect both sides of my personality. So, I hope you enjoy!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and enjoyed spending time with your loved ones.

New Year’s Eve is coming up in a few days so if you’re in need of a little outfit inspiration, look no further than the LBD! You can easily spice it up through your accessories, makeup and hair style. I added a playful pattern tight with hot pink accessories and lipstick to give it an evening party vibe. What are you planning on wearing to your upcoming NYE party?

These past few days, I was looking forward to seeing my family again, but I couldn’t wait to be reunited with Pepa too. As you know, she stayed in Vigo with very good company (you can read the reasons of this hard decision in this post if you didn’t have the chance to having a look at it a few months ago). We had a stroll around my city and we went to my favorite spot: Castrelos.

I wore my new fringed jacket from Buylevard. It’s perfect for these mild temperatures in Vigo. They’re not as cold as I remembered! Hope you like the pics!

A simple (or extravagant) combination of accessories can completely transform an outfit, hence our drawers full of earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, etc. Your man’s accessory stash might be a little less full – maybe even empty. But all he really needs is that one classic but practical piece that speaks volumes about his taste: a watch.
A man without a watch is like a woman without her handbag – it just shouldn’t happen!  This watch has been at the top of Cody’s wish list for weeks. It was supposed to a be a Christmas present but Mr. Snoopy found it before he was supposed to and was too excited to wait until Christmas to wear it.
With so many different lifestyles and tastes, here a few selections from techie to tailored that will fit anyone’s style:

Industrial: The combination of gunmetal and leather in a watch is the most masculine way to wear jewelry and one of Cody’s favorites. Love this version and the navy face of this one.

Modern Black: Black doesn’t seem quite so basic in this sleek style or this oversized watch

Colorful: A leather strap watch with a vibrant face is the perfectly sophisticated way to add color to any look.

Techie: A digital and modern piece under

Leather: A timeless leather strap watch is an all-time favorite for a reason. They look great with suits or a casual sweater. Also loving this one.

Classic: For a man with timeless taste, you can’t go wrong with a gold or silver chain watch.

Natural: The nature-lover is sure to appreciate this wood-grain-meets-leather look or this pure wood biodegradable style.

There’s something so magical about Christmas in New York City.  In past years I’ve lived uptown and enjoyed festive Central Park, The Plaza, Rockefeller Center, and tea at the St. Regis.  This year I’m downtown and have loved spending it in my cozy neighborhood.  The townhouses in the Village are so beautifully decorated with big wreaths, lights, and garland.  You can smell fire going in fireplaces, see ice skaters at The Standard rink, grab hot cocoa at the Gansevoort Market, and shop at the cute boutiques along Bleecker Street.  I love the excitement and energy in the air!  I hope you have a wonderful holiday spent with family and friends – and if you’re traveling today safe travels.  Merry Christmas!!  xx

Taking you guys back to Rio- oh what a beautiful place that was! This was a quick look into what I wore to visit Cristo Redentor. I wanted something airy and fresh to to help capture my mood.

The top I picked up in Sao Paulo while we had a couple of free hours to explore the city. We stumbled across this cool neighborhood/street (ah, I’m sorry I can’t remember the name right now) but it was almost like the Rodeo Drive of Sao Paulo. It was filled with their coolest stores, it was super hip and had a young stylish crowd. I fell in love with a couple of stores, including this store called Animale where I got this top from! So cute!

Anyway, I have a few random photos to sort through so I’ll get that going!

This a little #WhatIWore from Christmas. We had sooooo much fun at my family's Christmas! My mom and sister make me laugh so hard I cry! Within the first hour of being at my parents I had cried all my makeup off.. lol! And then we played Battle of the Sexes.. also crazy fun. My dad goes to bed before 9 normally and even he was up past midnight playing. Anyway, I'm kind of crazy over this swing/dolly dress w/the bow and plaid! Everything about it is just perfect! It also comes in red plaid as well! If you have any fun events (i.e. weddings) coming up the next couple of months it would be perfect!

Good morning, Everyone! Emil and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas! We hope joy and happiness snow on you, may all your days be merry and may Santa be extra good to you! :)

This year, Emil and I were hoping for a white Christmas, and kept going back and forth as to where we should spend the Holidays. Unfortunately, our travel plans fell through last minute and since we couldn't possibly have a white Christmas in LA, we figured a warm and sunny Christmas is basically just as good:) Rather than staying home, we decided to rekindle our somewhat unofficial tradition of spending Christmas visiting places we love the most. So, we packed our bags and headed down to San Diego.
And let me tell you, after a few cold and rainy weeks in LA, seeing sun shine again, is exactly what we needed! The weather here is just perfect! Warm and sunny during the day, yet slightly cool in the evening. Honestly, we couldn't imagine a better place to spend Christmas, in fact, we love it so much here, we decided to make Christmas in San Diego a yearly tradition!

What about you guys, where are you spending Christmas?

I can’t believe Christmas Eve is tomorrow, it seems like Thanksgiving was just yesterday! Today I’m sharing one last holiday look in case you’re still looking for outfit inspiration for the next two days. I love this skirt from ChicWish, it’s so festive and I love the formal/feminine feel it has. My heels are a little impractical for all the snow I’m standing on, I usually have my Uggs on until I get inside but trust me, my furry boots didn’t look cute so I put my heels on for the sake of these pictures ;)

What’s better than a cozy cashmere scarf on a cold December day?!  I’m obsessed with this Nordstrom Collection scarf which also doubles as a shawl and travel blanket.  It would make a perfect Christmas gift for a mom or sister.  These Sam Edelman booties would also make a great gift – Nordstrom carries them in a ton of different colors and they’re super comfortable.  Note – I went down a 1/2 size.  If you need even more gift ideas head to my Pinterest page, Shop page, or Nordstrom’s gift section.  Have a great weekend!

Good morning, birdies! Rise and shine!
Two more days left till Christmas and the sun is shining bright, so I couldn’t be happier. That, plus six full hours of sleep are marking wonders. Truth is I am not the biggest
fan of red, but you already know that. Sure, it’s a beautiful color, very powerful and
sexy, but still, I can’t seem to find a connection between me and it. Every single year,
I refused to follow the tradition of wearing red for Christmas, but not this time.
This year I am bold and feminine...bla bla bla...I just love how this beautiful corset
looks in red. And I bet it would look amazing paired with the black lace skirt for my Christmas outfit. So, problem solved! I just have to concentrate on the presents, now!
 Have a wonderful week, guys!
Kisses

We're Beginning Christmas week !!! Great. And I have not bought any yet present !! What's happening to me esta year ??? hahaha.

Today's outfit comes with a story That Both Antonio and I will remember forever ... We had just started shooting some photos and we started hearing Suddenly someone screaming: "Help, Help, por favor, Help !!!" We Waited a couple seconds to see if the yelling, That Sounded far away, stopped. With a mixture of curiosity and nervousness we Jumped into the CCAR and drove Towards the screams; They Came from the beach !! Far away in the water Could we see four guys trying to reach the shore swimming. Their kayaks sunk and They Were really scared ... We called the Coast Guard !! And luckily everything ended well !! Something to tell, hahaha !! Well ... As for today's outfit, as you can see, it is a beautiful houndstooth dress combined With a pink jacket and burgundy booties . I love this mix !! And my original new handbag, I love fabric and Its shape STIs. Do you like it?

Good morning, Everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

I think I mentioned on numerous occasions how much I enjoy the Holiday season! I love Christmas music and decorated tress, sound of jingle bells, wrapping presents, and coffee with eggnog. Granted the latter one is an acquired taste, but I got addicted to eggnog back in Canada, so now I can't imagine Christmas without it:) Yet, what I love about Christmas the most is spending quality time with family and friends. We don't always get to enjoy as much time together through out the year as we would like, but no mater what happens, we always get together during the Holiday season.
Though normally, we all gather together on Christmas Eve, since some of our family and friends are going to be out of town next week, we decided to host our Christmas party a bit earlier and the out-of-this-world amazing dress I 'm wearing in today's post, is what I wore to the party.

I've actually spent a good part of the past few weeks searching for just the perfect thing to wear. I kept going back and forth between a full-length gown and a cocktail dress, but once I found this amazing pleated perfection of a dress, that was pretty much it. Aside from the fact that I have more that a bit of a weakness for tulle, especially pleated, layered tulle, this dress has one of the most beautiful necklines I have ever seen. There is something so magical about a deep v-neck shaped front, delicate shoulder straps and open back. Of course, the reason why I fell in love with this dress is rather a combination of things like satin top combined with the most amazing full pleated tulle skirt, The kind of skirt that dances and moves with each and every step you take.

Oh, and believe me when I say I took full advantage and twirled and danced my little heart out. But when you wearing a dress like this, staying still is completely impossible:)

A MAGICAL NEW YORK EVENING

A MAGICAL NEW YORK EVENING

As soon as we entered, we were greeted by flutes of champagne, passed hors d'oeuvres and the sounds of a grand piano before being seated for the most incredible dinner. I could speak about the tablescape, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. The best part of the night, which was a complete surprise, the ballerinas! Not to be cheesy, but they literally bought tears to my eyes. For anyone who has been following my blog for some time, might know how much I love the ballet and how fascinated I am with ballerinas, so that part was extra special! It was truly an evening I'll never forget and again, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Good Morning! Today I share with you one of those looks that I love. Casual, abrigadito and very cool, at least for me;)

A total look black by mixing textures like cowboy point, patent leather and fur, which automatically switches through the jacket. Breaks everything and makes the look changes completely. I dig his chubby and super warm knit, very cool print and neck hair that makes it different from all other :)A real gem for the day! I love how it looks with broken straws, patent leather boots, rhinestone necklace and hat with pompom. Mixing some more scruffy clothes and other very chic;)

Hope you like, a thousand kisses!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! John is off tomorrow and we are going on a little family road trip!! I am pretty thrilled because John doesn't get to go on many trips with his intern year schedule. Fitzy baby is coming, too (of course!). You guys have NO idea how happy I get when the sun is shining at the same time I want to shoot. Actually yesterday was nearly clear skies all day and it was a wonderful thing... seeing as we have had mostly rain and/or clouds for the last month. I know, I know, cry me a river right? I know the rest of the country has been going through an Arctic Blast so I have no right to complain but that's the Cali girl in me :)

I'm going to try very hard to stop mixing red, black and white together. I think I do it too much and I should get a little creative. So of course this look kind of threw itself together and I think a top with a cut out in the back like mine is a sweet way to show a little skin in the winter.

Good morning and happy Sunday, Everyone!

Today's look is all about camels, caramels and creams. I think I mentioned before, something about this particular color combination makes me feel warm and cozy and since the weather in LA has been  cold and rainy for the past week or so, I've been seeking refuge by wearing quite a bit of caramels and creams. I guess you could say it's my new rainy day go-to color palette:)

I just wanted to say a quick hello and share a few images of an outfit I wore to dinner with Emil on Thursday. Though, I am definitely still having a love affair with black, lately, I find that I am slowly returning to wearing color again. Granted, I am still very far away from pulling out my bright pink coats and turquoise pumps, and the color palette I tend to be attracted to right now is much calmer and softer, nonetheless, color is definitely making it's way back into my outfits.

Good morning, guys!
Oh my God, these pics make me look like I haven’t slept in a week.
Which is true, except there are more than two weeks. It’s 4 in the morning and I’m
writing this post quickly, because I have to start working on the next one.
I’ve neglected the blog so much during this last month and I really hate myself for it.
I promise, pinky swear promise, that I’ll get back on track soon! Until then, let me share with you my pride and joy regarding this skirt. I’ve been dreaming for it ever since
I bought that similar one from H&M. But I wanted something more figure fitted,
more elegant and classy. And I’ve found it, of course. This perfect lace is my dream
come true. And believe me, you’ll be seeing it in lots of different combos, cause it’s one
of those perfect pieces that you’re able to wear all day, every day. From work, to a
brunch with the girls. From a dinner date, to a night in the club. From a Christmas
lunch at his parents, to a Christmas party with your friends. From the New Year’s
Eve Party, to an afternoon at the movies. I could actually see it worn with
a sweatshirt and sneakers. I bet it looks amazing!
So many combos and so little time. Can’t wait to show you more!
Have a wonderful day, darlings!
Kisses

I'm so happy to be partnering with Target on another fun post today. As the new year approaches, we all start thinking about what our resolutions will be. While many people will say that they want to take more risks with fashion and try out more trends, my goal will be just the opposite. I love fashion and color and prints and texture, but over the years I've learned that sometimes I can overlook pieces that are beautiful in their minimalism.
My style resolution for the new year is to wear more minimalistic outfits and to live by the "less is more" philosophy a little more often. For today's look, I kept Things simple by letting this great coat be the star of the show. I added in a cream colored turtleneck and black skinny jeans to accompany it and topped it off with a cozy black scarf. This look is perfectly minimalistic because there are few pieces but they speak to each other enough to make one cohesive ensemble. I didn't add in a bunch of bells and whistles because I wanted to let each individual piece stand out on its own. Making a quick adjustment to your wardrobe can quickly transform your mood, so don't be shy about setting your own style resolutions and sticking to them. 2015 is going to be a very chic year!

I’m always a sucker for a good pair of distressed denim. It’s always the first pieces I’m drawn to when I look for jeans. I love the fit of these boyfriend jeans (under $30) because they slim down through the legs so they are not too oversized, and they are the perfect light wash. Seems like post baby I have been gravitating towards oversized pieces that are comfortable as a busy mom on the go.

I wanted to share a couple tips I’ve found for perfecting my distressed denim. The first thing I always do is over rip the slits. Especially at the knees, pull the rip all the way to the side seems. This helps give them that worn in look and makes it more comfortable for your knees so there is not stress against the threads. The second thing I’ve found is cuffing the bottom with a thin roll. Typically the inside of the denim is a different color so the roll will create contrast against the regular wash on the outside. If the jeans are oversized I try to create a thin sleek roll to offset the baggy style. This is key if you are wearing heels, the polished roll helps tie in the heels.

There’s nothing more stressful than running around town trying to find a dress for an upcoming wedding or black tie event.  It’s always the times when you’re looking for something specific and can’t find it, right?!  This LBD from Nordstrom is perfect for weddings, cocktail parties, galas, balls…  It’s comfortable, flattering, and can be worn in the summer (it would look gorg with turquoise earrings) and winter (with a gold necklace and fur stole.)  You could even belt it for a more casual look.  Nordstrom has so many pretty dresses right now – I’ve been eyeing this one and this one from their New Years dress section.  Shop more of my favorite dresses from Nordstrom below (and make sure to snap up my LBD while it’s on sale!)

Our little Fitzy baby is getting big & I don't like it! John and I have this theory that he is entering his 'terrible twos' (LOL) right now because some of things he recently started doing. It is hilarious but so bad! Like, turning over the trashcan in my office - emptying it out - then going inside of it and digging (as if it is dirt?!). Oh, can't forget - he shreds the paper after he empties the trashcan. John noticed that he is losing teeth and new ones are growing in so I think he just really needs to be chewing on something all day to make his gums feel better.

Do y'all have big plans for the weekend?! Christmas shopping perhaps? My parents are coming up in the morning to help us with the move - I am not excited about moving but I am happy to get to be with them!

Have a great weekend!

This pretty little flowy floral dress was the right item to make me feel pretty. Who says you can’t wear floral print during the holidays? The key to that is to add fun details to make it have a “festive” feel. Instead of over-the-knee boots, I opted for a cool pair of metallic oxfords for an unexpected touch. A cozy beanie added that fall/wintery vibe too!

So many flowy dresses to choose from during the holidays so I make sure to stick to brands that I love like Free People at Nordstrom. From high end bags to more inexpensive ones, or from accessories to home goods, I know I can always rely on nordstrom to find exactly what I’m looking for. I love this dress and already have3 other ways I can wear it: long cardigan and over-the-knee boots, denim jacket paired with all-star converse high top in black,  or a fedora hat and suede brown booties! So versatile!
Don’t be afraid to mix things up by adding some metallic- it gives it that extra pop!

We shot these last week before the storm hit. In fact it was so warm I did end up taking off my coat eventually. But I went for a Christmas-y sort of color scheme and it definitely made me feel full of cheer :) It helped to have some coffee too of course.

I personally think this is a great office look, but I know that often prints or bold colors are a big no no at work. What do you guys think? According to an article on Forbes.com, polka dots are a yes. But then again they say drawstring pants and lace hem pencil skirts are okay too and I think those are definite no's. Thoughts?

Have a great weekend!

There you go, I’m back in jeans and warm coats again. But only for a couple of weeks…then we’re going to Thailand! Love this coat btw. I’ve been looking for the perfect grey coat a long time now and now I finally found it. :-)))) I’m gonna stay at the office for one more hour then go home and continue decorating. We finally finished painting last night so now we’re gonna decorate the wall bookshelf and put up some shelfs in the kitchen. Still chaos though, can’t wait for it to be nice and clean haha.

Red leather pants, my type of holiday outfit! I've been debating these pants for eons, but thought "hmmm..red leather pants? How much use am I really going to get out of them?"  Well surprisingly, a lot!  Since getting them over two weeks ago, I've been wearing them non-stop. My friends would probably agree.

Here, I went for a fairly bold, red-on-red look for a holiday party. Not that I wouldn't wear this on a normal day, because I certainly would, but it's especially perfect for this time of year.

Good morning and happy Friday, Everyone!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Wanted to share an outfit I wore to a recent impromptu shopping trip. After a few cold, rainy days, I woke up on Friday hoping to see some sunshine, but instead was greeted by dark clouds and chilly breeze. Personally, I don't mind the cold that much, but lack of sunshine, especially a few days in a row, makes me seriously blue. After some sulking and whining, Emil and I decided to take a walk around our favorite spot on Melrose in an effort to chase away some of these blues. After all, is there really a better cure for bad mood than some shopping and dining? Well, that and of course wearing your new favorite sweater also tends to do the trick... At least for me:)

You see, I had my eye on this gorgeous Alexander Wang number for some time now, so when I spotted it on a recent trip to Nordstrom, I just couldn't resist trying it on. Once I put it on, it was pretty much game over. I knew it was coming home with me:) Can't really decide what I love the most about it, the colors, the bubble texture or the slightly oversized fit, but the combination of all is simply stunning! I really had my heart set on wearing it with white, but seeing how it looked a lot like it was going to rain on Friday, I decided not to take that chance. Suppose this means the sweater is going to have to make another appearance on this blog because it really looks quite beautiful paired with all white. Hope you guys don't mind seeing it again:)!
