You that I love waistcoat and my best tip to style them is to treat them as any other accessory, like a scarf or a necklace. Plus, you also know that this next fall, vests are going to have a big place on our closet and this is perfect for the last weeks of summer and the beginning of autumn ;) I love that it’s a mesh vest because it adds a super cool touch and even more if you combine this vest with a shirt underneath… Top outfit!

Good Morning Everyone! I wanted to say a quick hello and share a few images of the outfit I wore yesterday to run some last minute pre-Fashion Week errands, i.e. meetings, shopping and getting my hair chopped off. By the way, I was going to go real short this time, but chickened out at the last minute again, and took just a few inches off:) Oh well, it's gonna happened some day! 

Since fall is right around the corner, my obsession with leather pieces is back with a vengeance:) Always on a look out for cool leather separates, I found this jacket and shorts at Marciano last week and I am completely in love with them. I've already worn them separately a few times, but I kinda like the way they look together. I think pairing a tailored, feminine jacket and athletic-inspired, loose-fitting shorts creates an interesting effect. What do you guys think?

I've spent the last couple of weeks streamlining my wardrobe. I've found myself less and less attracted to 'of the moment' pieces and more interested in pieces that have longevity like this lace trimmed skirt.... The shoes are another matter ;)

While taking my baby niece shopping for her birthday present a couple weeks ago we stopped in  because she wanted to get a little necklace. On our way out I spotted this pretty floral top! I looked at it and my niece told me "oh that will look SO beautiful on you." I mean I had to get it after that! I love the blush, aubergine and green mix. It is the perfect fall floral top.

Let's be honest, it may be September, but it's not quite Fall just yet. This past week has been warmer than usual, making it even harder to face the fact that Fall is just around the corner, but I must admit it's been nice not having to pack away the Summer dresses just yet. 

Slip dresses were my go-to this Summer, and chambray is my bestie, so it seems fitting that the combo eventually made its way together.
