Above are two of my looks from Fashion Week. Although very opposite, there are two classic silhouettes that stand out when I think of the word feminine and they couldn’t be more different. One is the classic pencil dress or skirt and the other is princess style (think pinks and tulle). Whether your style is more girly or sophisticated, both of these pieces are a great way to wear a feminine look without straying from your comfort zone.

Now truth moment, did I really brave the freezing New York temperatures in bare legs: Yes. And if you are wondering if I regret it: yup, sure do. :P I don’t know where my head was when I was packing. I got the coat part fine, but completely forgot about the legs! Next time I’m going to pretend like I’m headed to the Arctic! Hope you all are having a good week!

So, I am writing from HOME today... and I can't even begin to explain how wonderful it is to be home! John brought Fitz to the airport (on a short leash, do not worry!) and I literally could have cried when I saw them. John saw my face and was like "our homebody is back!" bc I love, love being home (& back in my oatmeal + coffee morning routine!) Oh, but ironically enough, when I left Tulsa for NY, it was sunny & 70... and when I got to NY it was sunny and my driver told me that I must have brought sunshine with me (ha!). Well, this morning here in Tulsa, we are snow/iced in - so I think 'I brought'  the crazy weather with me here.

More importantly, you may have seen my Instagram post from Saturday where I announced my design collaboration with Kingdom & State. I shared a sneak peak at this skirt that I designed with them & today I wanted to share a few more images! This is hands down the most gorgeous skirt I have ever owned - and the price point is great, too! It will launch in April so stay tuned!

I pulled out this leopard coat from last year to wear to the Tibi show on Friday. This coat can easily be dressed up or down; up with an all black outfit and heels, and down with a chambray shirt and moto boots.  If you’re hesitant about rocking a leopard coat – I suggest incorporating this leopard clutch into your wardrobe (I literally wear it with everything.)

While I intensely wait for spring and cross my fingers hoping that the colder days of winter in Barcelona are gone, little by little I start to replace the grey color in my wardrobe for softer ones and soothe down a little my anxiety for a better weather, something that definitely can’t be achieved with black.

Halfway through the week!! And week a week!! It looks like today it’s going to be a sunny day, hooray!! Let’s see how long does it last, hahaha!! Yesterday it was incredibly windy :(  Ah! I posted a picture on Instagram yesterday where it looked like I had cut my hair (I didn’t think about it) and after some of your comments I’m considering a similar haircut. Any advice? I want to change it, nut I cannot make up my mind!!

That said, let’s go with today’s outfit!! ^_^I love peplum, I think it is very feminine!! This mini-dress is just ideal, it is still to short and that’s why I decide to wear this black fake leather skirt underneath, do you like it? And to bring some color to a grey day what’s better than these yellow heels, I think they looked great. The cardigan is very warm and I like it a lot. And finally my new mini-handbag (you are going to see this kind of handbags a lot this season) It is so cool with that zebra print.

T H A N K S!!! Once again thanks for all your comments and visits. Hope that you liked it!! See you tomorrow, have a nice day.

The easiest and my favorite kind of outfits are those that require little to no thinking. Those outfits that consists of all basic pieces. Those outfits that are easy breezy and are the most comfortable, no fuzz kind of outfits.

I always say to have a couple of stripe tees (long sleeve, short sleeve, tanks) in your wardrobe because they’re so classic and look effortlessly chic. A denim jacket that looks distressed is another one to have in your closet- throw it on over a pretty dress or wrap it around your waist for a cooler look. Lastly, my favorite- ripped skinny jeans, in all colors if possible. Blue, black, white, grey… etc. I’m obsessed with growing my skinny jeans collection!

What are you favorite classic staples?
