Best Summer Street Fashion

Best Summer Street Fashion

My major summer dressing challenges can all be linked to the heat and the biggest dilemma is having to decide what kind of shoes to wear. Regular shoes are heavy and make me get really hot while walking in them like I just worked out very hard! That’s why holiday seems like to me, I want nothing but the most casual items, but without any structure at all. Here is my ‘aha’ moment and it’s that I’ve always thought of UGG Boots as the most popular clunky pieces ever created. Now, these perfectly unstructured flats are a growing trend and they are exactly what I am looking for my extra-hot summer days in Bodrum.

The first look is very simple; comfortable, chic and casual.. I definitely like it and the flared pants have seen one of the best buys of the year without doubt!

Hello!! How did your week go? I’ve been a little bit disconnected, I know!! But this is what being on holidays means, plus I have no computer and almost no Internet connection some times. I’ll try to catch up with everything today!!

I spent my day yesterday with some friends; we had lunch and swam in the pool, and what a better way of ending this day than going for a walk? The truth is that the weather has been quite chilly lately but it is the chance to wear these pieces of clothing that we wouldn’t be able to wear if we were having a hot summer, don’t you think? This gorgeous dress is one of these pieces of clothing, I liked the fabric and the cut when I tried it the day I received it. I was looking forward to wearing it for the first time!! I chose pink and silver accessories this time because I wanted to dress to stand out this time. How do you like the result?

I wish you all a super-weekend. We’re entering August!! I love this month, but it always seems to me that the best part of the year is coming to an end… hahahaha!! Hope that you liked the outfit and that you can drop a line with your thoughts. Thank you very much .. !!

White and grey is easily one of my favorite color combos. This time around, I paired an outfit I wear quite often, with a pair of statement earrings that instantly made me feel so glamourous. It's incredible how one little item can transform your entire look.

Hope everyone has an easy Sunday!

Hello Everyone! Just wanted to say hello and share a few images of my new favorite totally twirl-worthy dress. Can't really decide what I love the most about it, the color, the full skirt or the cut-outs on the front! Whatever it is though, it's definitely one of those happy dresses I love so much! So far, I've worn it 3 times, and each one of those times involved an obscene amount of skipping and twirling:) What can I say, I love a dress that moves... and this one certainly does! :)

Hope you have a great rest of the weekend!

Flare is the new Skinny? Heck yeah, I mean, where do I even begin with these flared jeans? How about the way it fits the tush so well ;) and the detailed seam down the sides that gives it that lengthening effect? I am obsessed!

I stumbled onto these jeans at the Ron Herman Store on Melrose Avenue. If you live in LA, you've probably heard of them but if not, you need the Ron Herman experience, the fun of putting together a stylish outfit you are super comfortable with. If you live outside of LA or the US, you can get a feel of their Californian vibe through their newly designed website, take a peek!

For today's look I'm letting this striped body-con dress do all the talking. Honestly, I'm not usually a fan of tight dresses, that's why I usually wear a-line silhouettes, but this little number was an exception to my rule. The orange and red stripes mixed with black make this perfect for a summer cocktail party or just a night out on the town. The cut out in the back gives it the perfect balance of classy and sexy, slip on a black blazer over top and wear this for a day at the office!

I hope you have a great Sunday!

IN MY COMFORT ZONE

IN MY COMFORT ZONE

If I have to pick a comfort zone in the world of fashion and colors, although I love prints, I would say neutral colors and basic pieces. I created today’s outfit in less that two minutes because that’s the reason why we have to love neutrals and basic items. They work with everything and they also do our lives so much easier but at the same time, we have to work on this kind of outfits or otherwise, they will look wishy-washy ;) This time, I added to this beautiful mesh skirt, a maxi-necklace and a opened shirt (this one is made of linen and so it’s super chilly!). You know I always do this when I want to give a twist to my look!

Since we arrived from Portugal, we have so much to do here. First of all, I’m catching up with an inbox email which is on fire… That’s one of the drawbacks of traveling too much! Also, we are trying to organize the new apartment and last but not least, doing some wedding stuff, hehe :) So for those kind of days, all that I need is an outfit like this and yes, also tons of coffee!!

Kisses!

There is something about the weather in SF. Even on a warm, sunny day, I'm happiest in a sweater. And what makes less sense than a sweater with heels? Ha! These are really, really comfy heels though. I pretty much felt like a bum, I was just that comfortable. But I certainly didn't feel like I looked like one, so... the best of both worlds.

Happy Sunday folks!
