A simple french twist is a classic up-do that is perfect for a variety of occasions. If you’ve ever wondered how to achieve this chic style, we have just the guide for you! Follow the steps below to see how to use chopsticks to create the perfect french twist!

Steps:

1. Lightly backcomb the lower half of your hair for fullness.
2. Next, pull all of your hair to one side and fasten with a clear hair-tie.
3. Using chopsticks, grab the ponytail just above the hair-tie.
4. With both hands, carefully twist up and around, tucking the ends into the top of the twist.
5. Leaving the chopsticks in, bobby-pin the french twist until it feels secure.
6. Slowly pull the sticks up and out to reveal your french twist!

Hello Fashion - Pink Sleeve Blouse, White Ripped Skinny Jeans, Camel Leather Handbag and Pink Pumps

There are two pieces you need in your closet this Spring: a neutral blouse and a colored moto jacket. The best part is both pieces are under $100. I’ve always loved blush pink and we are seeing so much of it this season (I’m not complaining). This blouse reminds me of the high end ones I have but half the price. There is also this version (still under a $100) which comes in like 10 colors. The hot pink is really pretty too!

Now moto jackets. I have always loved these edgy pieces, but this season we are seeing them in every shade from pastels to bright candy colored tones. How pretty is the shade of this blue one? They actually have it in three colors, I really debated getting the grey too. Its so pretty! The material feels kind of like suede so it looks expensive. I also fell in love with this bright yellow moto and this classic white one. What ever color you decide on – a moto is a closet staple this Spring.

This weekend we are celebrating B’s birthday! Ahhhh I can’t believe it! My family all just got into town so I’m excited to hang out with them. I've always been one of those people who wear things they like to the point of obsession. Case in point, hats! At some point, having realized full benefits of wearing hats, I've developed a massive hat addiction. All of a sudden, bad hair days are but a distant memory, no outfit seems complete without it and my late-night online shopping inevitably leads to browsing accessory sections, looking for more hats in all imaginable and unimaginable colors. 

Of course like all my obsessions, bright colors or preoccupation with black for example, this too will pass. But for now, I remain completely and utterly addicted to wearing hats... Hope you can bear with me while I get it out of my system!:)

Floral Print Tulip Pants, White Barcelona Cami Top and Valentino 'Rockstud' T-Strap Sandals / The Sweetest Thing

Okay, so I need to stock up on this tank in all colors + similar styles of pants like this! Seriously complete comfort, yet still vacay appropriate & cool. This is what I wore out to dinner the last night we were in Jamaica.

What are you plans for the weekend?! It is supposed to be pretty nice in Tulsa so I am sure we will be outdoors quite a bit! Tonight I am driving to Hot Springs, Arkansas to watch my brother's team play in the semi-finals! They won Tuesday (another fun, close game!) so the big games are starting this weekend. It's four hours from where we live so I will be driving a total of 8 hours today?! Looks like I'll be hitting up Starbucks first thing this a.m.

URBAN ESSENTIALS - Mesh Sleeve Trench, Black Pants, Anouk Suede Pumps / Brooklyn Blonde

Hi guys! TGIF! Just wanted to share a few things: 

1) For those of you who are looking for a new show to watch and haven't seen Parenthood, I HIGHLY recommend it. You would think I was their publicist the way I'm going around telling all my friends that they need to watch it. I know it's not new and this is probably old news, but it was new to me! I recently finished it and it's truly one of the best shows I've seen in a long time (acting and writing are both top notch). If you have Netflix, it's on there! And if you have any shows that I must watch, would love to hear your recommendations. 

2) I'm so into all the pointy-toed flats that are floating around and am looking to add a pair into my spring/summer wardrobe. Can't get these out of my head.

3) One of my good friends, Christine of My Style Pill, recently launched her YouTube channel. I've always told her that she's a complete natural on camera and that it's something she should absolutely be doing. Pretty excited that she finally is! Congrats, my friend!

'Breezy' Seam Detail Slub Knit Tank with 'Skyline' Bootcut Stretch Jeans and Medium Rockstud Tote / Sequins and Things

I've clearly boycotted the tanning bed this Winter, but I refuse to hide my love for flare denim. I used to wear flares all the time back in high school [class of 2004, what what!] and I'm so excited to see that they are making a come back. These Paige Denim Bootcut jeans are so wonderful. They're soft and the cut is perfect. [Don't let the bootcut designation fool you. They're flares.] This outfit is super simple. I could have paired it with one of the cocoon cardigans that I love, but it was too warm and I really wanted to embrace it.

Spring is right around the corner so I’ve been reaching for all of the light, pastel coats in my closet.  I wore this look to the Dior and Longchamp previews yesterday. It’s hard to believe that my 3 week Europe trip is coming to an end – it went by way too fast.  I’m looking forward to returning this summer (and already scheming up weekend getaways to the South of France, Capri, and the English countryside!)  PS if you missed out on the Shopbop promotion – don’t worry they just added a ton of new styles to their sale section.  I have my eye on this black fedora, this blush scarf, and these booties.

Good morning!!!!!! Today is a marked day for easily scared people like me, hahahaha!! Well, it is still Friday, hooray!!!! And this weekend I’m going to join great people again ^_^

And to finish such a busy and complicated week I’m showing you a simple outfit that’s composed by very beautiful pieces of clothing. The coat is awesome and prefect for the upcoming Holy Week, isn’t it? I do think it is perfect ;) We also have this gorgeous shirt with its original sleeves that make it a special piece of clothing, don’t you think? I love this shirt; I bet you also do!!! hahaha… And finally, what do you say about these divine sandals? hahahaha I could not wait more to wear them for the first time, the have been in my closet for a while now!! hahaha.
