STEALS THE DEAL

STEALS THE DEAL

Photo/Source

Cheers to the weekend everyone! In this post, I am back to basics. You can never have too many basics, for instance these tees from Target. Soft, great fit and affordable, the real DEAL. I bought two tees for under 18 bucks and layered them for a comfy casual look. I wanted a hint of stripes so I layered my black tee over the stripes. A white and grey combo is next on my list ;)

WELL HEY NOW MAXI SKIRT

WELL HEY NOW MAXI SKIRT

We made it to Thursday!  Or at least that’s how I’m feeling this week (insert worried emoji face here).  Lou and I both got sick with colds a couple of weeks ago, and then that turned into bronchitis for both of us.  Our acupuncturist said that the emotion associated with the lungs is grief, so that’s why our bodies weren’t able to shake this little bug off the way they should have been.  Crazy, right?  I’ve never had bronchitis before, and it’s unusual to get it in the middle of the summer (and especially in the desert!), so it makes sense to me.  We’re finally getting back to normal but I feel like we’ve been in survival mode for days!  Last night we ventured out for our first date night in forever, and it was amazing to be out and about!   All of that is neither here nor there, because this is really about this amazing high-waisted maxi skirt that I ordered a few weeks back when Shopbop had their amazing sale on sale deal going on (I kind of live for those 25% off sale items days)!  I think we’re soulmates.

Good Morning!!

Today I leave rebajil my first post ... I've been slow to get out to see some sales but finally I could run away and buy some stuff.
Among them, the total look white, shorts were a crush, Twenty Easy signature is a new, more affordable line that has created Fornarina and I really en-can-tó, and the blouse is Tintoretto, which was two hundred thousand years since I noticed nothing of this firm and see where I bought two little things.
As color complements the set of necklace and bracelet Cuchicuchi, which I find really nice with a hippie twist!
Here you have the pics to see what you think the full outfit!

Famous Little Black Dress

Famous Little Black Dress

A little black dress is an evening or cocktail dress, cut simply and often quite short. Fashion historians ascribe the origins of the little black dress to the 1920s designs of Coco Chanel and Jean Patou intended to be long-lasting, versatile, affordable, accessible to the widest market possible and in a neutral colour. Its ubiquity is such that it is often simply referred to as the "LBD".

The "little black dress" is considered essential to a complete wardrobe by many women and fashion observers, who believe it a "rule of fashion" that every woman should own a simple, elegant black dress that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion: for example, worn with a jacket and pumps for daytime business wear or with more ornate jewelry and accessories for evening. Because it is meant to be a staple of the wardrobe for a number of years, the style of the little black dress ideally should be as simple as possible: a short black dress that is too clearly part of a trend would not qualify because it would soon appear dated.

Good morning everybody!

As many among you have asked for more pieces of advice related to wedding looks, today I’m coming with a very special one, ideal for a cocktail party. I wanted to show you this stunning dress by Louver Marbella, one of my favourites designers, which was the perfect choice for one of those events marked in red on the calendar. It has hundreds of great features and I don’t know which one would be the most important for me; the only thing I know is that I fell in love with it from the very first moment :) . Its asymmetric flattering neck, its well-done drapery, the embellishment details or the gliding qualities of the skirt make it become a great show.

To provide my rocky touch and break with the princess style of the dress, I paired it with my black leather jacket, which gives the look the perfect bad-girl smell I was looking for. As accesories, just my beloved patent leather stilettos and a silver clutch which goes perfectly with the embellishment of the dress.

NOTTING HILL STROLL

My very first walk through Notting Hill last week after finishing a tour at the ASOS headquarters. Such an amazing experience to say the very least! It was so exciting seeing the behind the scenes planning and all the different teams that create and run this brand. I mostly enjoyed watching models run up and down the catwalk and then within seconds the videographers are producing the video and streaming it to the website. Scary enough, they allowed me on the catwalk for a short video clip. I figured it was better if that one didn’t make social media!

Morning guys! Today I want to share with you this look with a cool kind of Japanese style. The beautiful floral kimono and the wooden wedge sandals look pretty well together. I love kimonos for glam looks, but paired with a ripped denim shorts you will get a really cool casual chic style. I do love too the tank top, the strappy back is so beautiful too! Well, you must have noticed that I love this look ;) It´s perfect for a summer walk or even for night.

It's been awhile since I've styled a pair of white denim but I must say I don't know why! White denim is clean, classy and summery. This Abercrombie pair especially has an amazing cut with a no slip waistband and comes in a wide range of washes and rises that I simply love. I'm also really happy that the back pockets are placed just so because this Abercrombie denim sure knows how to make a bootay look great :) You guys are lucky too because if you click here then you can get the code to buy a pair of their jeans for just $35 until August 2nd!

Excited to say I'm packing for Swim Week right now! These past few days have been so crazy and it certainly is going to get crazier!

Striped Summer Dress

If I’m going to wear navy or black stripes I almost always mix in army green or grey. The colors just complement each other so well plus it’s a good way to break the pace of the stripes. I’ve been on the hunt for a simple striped summer dress and this one totally measures up. Leave to it French Connection to always win me over.

The sandals are from one of my favorite boutiques in Notting Hill, Wolf & Badger. Wolf & Badger was founded in 2009 by brothers Henry and George Graham and focuses on promoting and supporting independent fashion, jewelry, and interior design brands from the UK and surrounding areas. It was such a treat getting to spend an afternoon at the Notting Hill location learning more about the brand.  I mean you can literally spend hours in there discovering incredibly talented emerging designers. The brand of these flats, La Paire, was created by London-based Amy La. La Paire specializes in handmade leather sandals, catering to both summer-holiday goers and those who escape the cold for warmer climates. The highlight for me…not your everyday sandal and still VERY comfortable! Check out more of La’s designs here!

Everyday I am so lucky to have my hair styled by TRESemmé hair stylist Tyler Laswell! For this outfit he gave me a sort of retro bombshell 'do which totally polished off the 60's playsuit look I was going for! I really love how he moved my 'part' over a bit. It's a little thing that makes a big difference! And I know I usually go for straight, curled, messy bun or pony, but it's really amazing what an impact it can make on your overall image when you go for a more customized and unique hairstyle! So really I am so inspired to continue trying new hair styles when I get home.
