We took these photos in Mosteiro de Alcobaça (Alcobaça’s Monastery). I never mentioned it before on the blog but Alcobaça is my hometown, I was born and raised there and eventually left for college at the age of 18 – I went to study in Oporto (north of Portugal) for 5 years and after that I moved to Lisbon. Alcobaça and its Monastery are connected to the beautiful, yet tragic, love story of D. Pedro and D.ª Inês de Castro which can be considered the portuguese version of Romeo and Juliet. And to spend everyday surrounded by so much beauty and history are the perks of being an old world (European) girl. :) Do visit if you live/come to visit Portugal!

Navy blue is one of my new favourites colours, specially when I can mix some other contrast colours like red and yellow. This is the main inspiration for today’s look du jour. I’m wearing this cute jumper from Gap with some tiny moustaches! Also wearing Wear Ever navy blue skirt and some red accessories, like Haute&Rebellious shoes and Dafiti bag.

Morning guys! Today I want to show you this original, funny and mellow yellow look ;) If there is a season when you can wear this kind of daring looks, it´s summer. I do love this mini dress combining white and yellow in this check style. I chose all the accessories in white, for a minimalistic effect (the dress is special enough itself!)

If only every piece in my closet was as multi functional as this Wolf & Badger white tennis-ish dress. I tried pairing sneakers and a hat, clean heel and choker scarf, and then this…denim under, leather over. The third option definitely wins in my book for several reasons…transitions day to night, work appropriate, and it’s simply just more interesting. What do you think?  Maybe it’s one of those things you’re either gonna love it or hate it…

Happy Sunday! This is a classy, easy look. But the slightly sheer top makes it both casual and unexpected. Mike and I shot this while we were in SF recently. Right on the City Hall steps too! I love this skirt because it is so structured. I've been noticing a lot lately as I've been wearing more Cameo items, they make some really high quality (thick) items.

I realized I haven't picked the Keep winner yet so I'll announce them in my next post!
