Natural remedies for dry or cracked lips

Lips are a sensitive area where smoother skin  can be easily damaged. Indeed winter is the season when  lips are the most affected, but in any other season you can wake up with dry and chapped lips. Whether the wind blows or you stay too long in the sun and do not moisturize your lips, regardless of the circumstances it is good  during the year to take care of your lips.

Hydration is primordial – Natural remedies for lips ranks second after hydration. If you do not drink enough water and other fluids daily (soup, tea) all the trataments or creams are useless. As long as the situation is not resolved internally, all the external treataments have no effect. Besides liquid, consume vegetables and fruits rich in water.

Remedies for dry or cracked lips – For beautiful, healthy and free from cracks  lips, it’s best to follow a routine of care. Once a week apply a light scrub on your lips. But you have to be gentle, do not apply much pressure. You can do this with  sugar moist (but not melted) or wet corn. If you have a worn toothbrush to not throw it use it to clean the dead cells from the lips. For soft, smooth and healthy lips try at home one of the natural remedies described below. After making any treatment on the lips, remove them with a cotton pad soaked in warm water.

1. When you stay in the house put honey on your lips and leave it on for 10-15 minutes.

2. Put olive oil on your lips, or you can mix the oil with the honey; Leave it  on for 10-15 minute

3. Try aloe vera gel on your lips.

4. For chapped lips is very good calendula cream.

5. Coconut oil is also very beneficial for the lips.

6. Glycerin is beneficial forthe lips and dry skin.

7. For chapped lips is very good the castor oil.

8. You can put on your lips some cream( for cooking)- for 15-30 minutes.

In closing,  very useful simple tips if they are followed:

Do not bite your chapped  lips and do not break the dry husks .

Give up of the habit of licking your lips.

Use a lip balm when you get out that you also can use it on your lips at night.

If you expose yourself to the sun,  apply on your lips a lip balm with UV protection.

'Nordstrom Naturals' Eyeshadow Palette, Long Sleeve Shark Bite V-Neck Tee, 'Good Vibes' Distressed Skinny Jeans / Sequins and Things

With Daylight Savings behind us, the days are lasting longer and I, personally, couldn't be happier. Spring is almost here, which jumpstarts my desire to get rid of clutter and old makeup. This is when I want a fresh face and fresh makeup to help make that happen. I decided to log on to Nordstrom's website to peruse their Beauty Department with that in mind and ended up buying some great products that go along with this Spring's beauty trend, 'new neutrals'. Here are the five products that have impressed me the most:

1. MAC 'Nordstrom Naturals' Eyeshadow Palette: This palette has every color you could want to use if you love warm neutrals, like myself. I tend to gravitate towards light creams and warm brown's when it comes to eyeshadow, so this palette is a dream come true! Here's another warm neutral palette option, and if you love cool neutral's ... this one is for you!

2. Chanel Blush in Rose Bronze: With blush, I usually buy plum, neutral or orange colors so I told myself to venture outside of my comfort zone and grab a pink and I love this one. It's not TOO pink, which I like, and I love that it has some shimmer to it! 

3. Bobbi Brown Brightening Brick Compact in Pink: Brightening bricks are my new favorite thing. I have used quite a few different ones, but I needed one that highlights pink cheeks and this one does the trick! 

4. Bobbi Brown 'Monday to Sunday' Sheer Lip Color in Lilac Pink: Y'all know I love trying out new lip colors, and I'm surprised it's taken me this long to try Bobbi's. I chose Lilac Pink to compliment the blush and highlighter, and it was the perfect choice. It's a creamy formula, which is a great change from the matte color I usually wear.

5. YSL 'Volupte' Tint-In-Oil in 05 Cherry My Cherie: I love this product so much! I've been wearing the '04 I Rose You' color for a few weeks now, so I had to pick up another one. It  It offers your lips just a little bit of color while moisturizing them, as well. I highly HIGHLY recommend you try it out.

Happy Wednesday guys! I can’t believe it’s March, B turns one this month. I am actually kind of freaking out about it. It’s all gone by so fast. I’ll probably get real cheesy and sentimental the next couple weeks so don’t mind my emotional-ness :)

Happy Tuesday! Sorry I was kind of MIA last week we were on a family trip in Arizona and got back this weekend. Today is a Valentine’s inspired his and her look featuring one of my favorite dresses. I actually have this dress in multiple colors (Black version worn in this post) . It is such a versatile piece that can be worn to work, church, dressed up for a date night, whatever the occasion may be. You can’t go wrong with the classic pencil silhouette.

I guess my black moment is coming to an end:) I can't say it's completely over but I am definitely feeling like wearing more color again all thanks to the wonderful pair of trousers I am sporting in today's post. I found them on my last trip to Zara, and just fell in love with the perfectly slouchy fit and of course the soft pink color. I actually have a bit of a weakness for this particular shade of pink. Soft and feminine, it works beautifully with a variety of colors ranging from deeper shades like burgundies and navies, to softer ones like grays, creams and blues. And of course you know how important versatility is to me:)

Honestly this coat is so fun and of course it's faux too! It kept me really warm in the crazy cold winds that suddenly picked up yesterday. This is a standout outfit even though I paired the look with jeans to tone it down. You can use this coat to punch up really just anything! 

Happy New Year to those of you that are ahead of us Californian's!!! I, however, will be partying it up tonight! I don't drink but you can bet I will have some of that sparkling cider!

We're Beginning Christmas week !!! Great. And I have not bought any yet present !! What's happening to me esta year ??? hahaha.

Today's outfit comes with a story That Both Antonio and I will remember forever ... We had just started shooting some photos and we started hearing Suddenly someone screaming: "Help, Help, por favor, Help !!!" We Waited a couple seconds to see if the yelling, That Sounded far away, stopped. With a mixture of curiosity and nervousness we Jumped into the CCAR and drove Towards the screams; They Came from the beach !! Far away in the water Could we see four guys trying to reach the shore swimming. Their kayaks sunk and They Were really scared ... We called the Coast Guard !! And luckily everything ended well !! Something to tell, hahaha !! Well ... As for today's outfit, as you can see, it is a beautiful houndstooth dress combined With a pink jacket and burgundy booties . I love this mix !! And my original new handbag, I love fabric and Its shape STIs. Do you like it?

We are really enjoying our time here in Colorado. The scenery is just breathtaking! And Fitz got to play in the snow for the first time - he seemed to like it a lot - especially digging in it!

This striped, mock turtleneck tunic is everything! It's got a baby doll fit to it - making it super cozy but so cute. I love that it has a nautical feel to so I can wear it right into spring. 

In other news, is it just me or is it crazy that December is already here?! I need this month to slow down! John's on a 'good' rotation (and by good I mean, normal working hours) so I am enjoying getting to see him a little more. Also, each December I find myself craving the cheesy Holiday movies - ya know, the love stories & such. So if you are looking for a cheesy, lovey Christmas movie -watch A Christmas Kiss on Netflix.. its one of my faves, lol. Y'all will have to recommend your favorites to me - I don't watch a lot of tv but I do like to watch Netflix while I pack. :)
