In 1 week from today I’ll be making my way to NYC for fashion week and not only do I absolutely love NYFW, but September is officially my favorite month of the year. I always thought of myself as a warm weather girl {and still do}, but there is something so special about fall. I crave the changing colors of the leaves and the first feel of the cool fall breeze blowing through the city. New York is my favorite place to be in the fall. When I was in the big apple earlier this month {when these photos were snapped}, it may or may not have been a bit too warm to be sporting denim but my fall heart busted it out anyway. I found my new Express jeans pretty much glued to my legs! They are stretchy but fitted, distressed but not too destroyed and the perfect pair of jeans to wear year round.

This was my outfit this last weekend, when we had a bbq with my family. I grabbed the first item I had on top of a clothes’ mountain and I loved the result! So we took pictures of it yesterday ;) This is the way in which outfits show up and I admit that they are almost always the best ones!
As you see, I’m still on pink fever… Let me say that this is going to be like this even during fall, hehe ;) This time I went for the most common combo: black + pink and I added these slippers for a twist. I do love this top not just because of the pink shade but for the details of lace on the sleeves and neck. By the way, lace came to stay so you will see it a lot on the new collections!

Working for the Weekend.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of taking a mini getaway to Sedona, Arizona with my beautiful friends from Lovers + Friends. They invited me to join in on a awesome little trip to launch their Fall ’14 Collection called ‘Working for the Weekend.’
The new collection is inspired by working hard to enjoy the fun things, like mini getaways. It’s a collection that aims to always make you look and feel good whether at work, happy hour or during the weekend. After a week long of hustling at your 9 to 5 job, it’s about rewarding yourself while looking great in Lovers + Friends. Our trip to Sedona was just that.
Working super hard non-stop with the blog, projects, meetings and my Sj brand all week long is exhausting. So finally getting to enjoy the weekend and reward myself with a trip, shopping or my favorite activity is always the icing on the cake. I was so excited to be a part of this launch because I’m a true believer of working hard to only play harder.
The awesome itinerary for the weekend had a couple of things that I had never done before, like riding on a six-seater plane over the Grand Canyon (whoa! MAJOR) and star gazing at night. I can now check the Grand Canyon off of my bucket list, yes!
So remember to reward yourself after a week, a month or a day full of hard work while looking beautiful, especially in Lovers + Friends. Check out more of the collection here.

The first thing I fell in love with when arriving to Lisbon is the colourful streets. I couldn’t stop gasping every time I saw another blush pink building. Then I saw mint, yellow, pale blue… it was pastel heaven. It really got me thinking, why don’t we do this all over the world? Doesn’t it make it a happier place?
This was my travel outfit for day one touring around the city. We took an early flight out of Berlin so comfort and casual was all I could think about it. As soon as we arrived to LX Boutique Hotel (more to come on that later), we dropped off our bags and did what we do in every city we first arrive at: walk. We ventured out with no sense of direction in mind, which I find is the best way to get a sense of your boundaries.
Following maps can actually be more frustrating than simply following what street looks best to you. So we followed the pink buildings (I may have been leading the way at this point) and we stumbled across some gorgeous areas that we actually didn’t come across the rest of our time in Lisbon. You never know what you’ll discover when you wander.

Hi! Finally getting a post together here… I’m telling you it was a rough last week. Got back from Palm Springs and had to pack for Dubai! So I really haven’t had time to check in with you guys.
I always fall back to staple pieces, like this striped shirt and ripped skinny jeans, to get me out of a hurry. It always works. Ran a few errands and bought a few things I needed for my trip and off I go to pack. Busy weekend it was.
Anyway, I’m writing to you from Dubai now.. I’m really excited to even type that up. It’s my first time here and I can’t even begin to imagine what it really feels and what it looks like in the morning (it’s currently 1:10am right now). I will share a bit more details in my next post as to why I’m in Dubai!

Today I have an exciting collaboration with the brand Hagahi. I was so thrilled when the Hagahi team reached out to me to wear a piece from their Safari Collection. Hagahi will be the first high-end ready to wear brand that combines their core designer, Gahee, and young emerging artists. Hagahi will re-interpret the artists visions and integrate them into the space of fashion. This creative approach will give consumers another way to appreciate the arts.
I was immediately drawn to this cobalt blue matching set. The rich textures and striking color make these pieces one of a kind. From the leather piping to the perfectly placed zipper, no detail was overlooked. I feel so honored to be able to work with such an exciting brand and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. Stay tuned for more collaborations with Hagahi.

The older I get, the more I gravitate towards classic items, often with a little city edge. Those are the items that are constantly rotating in my closet and that always make me feel the most confident and put together. Case in point: classic trench, black dress, pointy-toed pumps, your favorite accessories and a bold lip (I find myself wearing a red lip a lot more in the fall and winter).
Just a little reminder to invest in good quality, closet staples. They're the items that will get you the most bang for your buck!

I wore this dress to the DKNY MYNY event yesterday and since I knew I'd be running around all day, I paired it with a sleek, comfortable black bootie. Later on for some evening plans, which also included a cab, I changed into these heels. Initially, I had on my black Jimmy Choo's, but decided to have a little fun with the pattern on pattern mix.

Morning! I’m in the airport, ready for my trip to Honduras. I’ll be there until next week and I’ll be showing you all the details of my visit on my social media channels (@lovelypepa).
As soon as I arrived from Ibiza, I visited Lacoste’s showroom in Madrid for the fitting of the brand’s show in New York. That will be in a few days. I just can’t wait to be in New York. I’ll be with very good company. You’ll see what I’m talking about very soon.
That day in Madrid I wore my Chicwish shorts and I matched them with a black top and my new sandals from Schutz. Thanks a lot for all your comments.
WANDERLUST WITH LOVEGOLD

When I dress myself in the morning I usually start with a (special) item I want to incorporate in my look, and accordingly I match the rest of my outfit to it. Sometimes I start with a bag, with shoes, with a top, or a jacket, but this time the starting point were these incredible unique pieces by Bron Jewelry.
Thanks to LoveGold we got this amazing opportunity for their #Wanderlust campaign which I’ve been following from the beginning. For those who are not familiar with LoveGold, they basically search the entire world for the finest gold jewelry pieces and unite designers with the people who would want to wear their pieces. As I got familiar with what they do (I’ve been following their Instagram and website for such a long time) I fell in love with all the stories they create. Especially the fact that every time the story is told from a different perspective, from a different part of the world, with different designers, from modern to vintage pieces. 
The concept of their #Wanderlust campaign is perfection and really what LoveGold is all about; exploring the finest gold jewelry from all over the world and sharing it with others. I’m incredibly honoured to share a few unique pieces from Bron Jewelry, shot in front of Amsterdam’s world famous canals. As you can see both Bron jewelry and I are a big fan of layering, therefore the match was a very logical yet super exciting one. From layering these gorgeous gold necklaces to bracelets and rings. All pieces are unique and have a story to tell on their own.
As always I styled these gold pieces in my own personal way. Wearing a top that reflects the sunlight beautifully and gives a golden glow, the jeans to give it a casual touch, and these gorgeous Sam Edelman heels. What do you think?

This jumpsuit represents pretty good what I like when I want to look sexy, elegant and chic during summer. To my eyes it’s just beyond perfect! I love that even though it has wide legs it’s tight on the waist. Some times, the bad part about loose pieces is that they add volume to our silhouette. At first, I had the idea of a a belt in mind (guess which one! I will only say “black” and “gold”… I’m sure you don’t have an idea, hehe!) but afterwards what I want was all the eyes on the jumpsuit and that’s why we chose a clean landscape as well. At this point, I’ve lost count of how many “loves” I have already on my closet but for sure, this jumpsuit goes under that description too. This is one of my favorite outfits of these last months and also the pictures, that’s the reason behind too many pictures on this post… hehe! So sad that the jumpsuit arrived on my closet at this time but I will wear as much as I can during the last month of summer :)

Today I want to show you my set yesterday . Unfortunately, in Lublin recently got colder and I had to resign from dresses to pants and jackets. Because of this, the latest blogs there are more and more such "zwyklaków", I decided that every post with their participation will be called SIMPLE PLAN . Lately I have been so attached to the color black, but let’s be real – is there such chic and versatile color as black?! A basic black, regardless of the composition, always has a sophisticated feel right?! Today’s look I created a full black and cool outfit, with a touch of rocker that I loveeee! I just want to take a moment to talk about my mild major obsession with this beaded clutch from LuLu's! It is so unique and I've found a way to pair it with so many things in my closet! so delicate...that I had to mix it with studded accessories. Weird, right?!
Thing is, sometimes even I get tired of heels and way too feminine outfits and there are days (mostly, during the weekend) when I feel that I should break out of the ordinary.
The metallic zipper on the back of the dress inspired me to go further on this theme.

Today it’s the last day of FW and I’m gonna go to five shows, among them are AltewaiSaome and Ida Klamborn. I’ve got lots of other photos from yesterday as well but I don’t have time to post them now. I’m thinking about bringing my laptop with me today because I have a big break between two shows tonight. I wore this outfit for a quite special diner during my holidays; it is perfect for a diner. Since it was at night we couldn’t take pictures and this week we took the chance to take some pictures to show it to you. Besides the Black & White combination, that I love, it has a stunning fullness; it is awesome when you walk. I opted for golden and black accessories. The handbag cannot be more original. As for the hairstyle, I think this time I got it better than that night, or at least I like it more this time because it has a casual touch that I couldn’t get the first time. Do you like long dresses? How about this one? ;)
