Lace is one of the most classic and feminine textures that has been loved for what seems like all of time. It’s probably one of the only styles that both you and your grandmother see eye to eye on ;). There are so many fresh ways to incorporate lace into your wardrobe. Nordstrom Rack has a lot of cute lace pieces right now. I found this blush lace top (60% off) a couple weeks ago (I always get so excited when I find designer pieces on discount there!). If you need some lace styling inspiration, try adding a modern twist like boyfriend jeans, a leather jacket, or distressed denim to balance out the feminine effect of lace with some edge. One of the newest takes on lace is ditching the lower layer to show a bit of skin. You can either pair a pretty bralette or bandeau underneath or, for a little more conservative coverage, my go-to is always a nude cami – it shows off the beautiful lace detail while keeping you covered. Nude camis always work better than black or white – so if you don’t have one this is a closet staple.
